To launch the school year, we have planned two “Sneak-a-Peek” events on Friday, August 23rd between 2:00-4:00p.m. This is an open house event that will offer families the opportunity to visit the school, meet the staff, and drop off school supplies prior to the first day of school.
To accommodate this popular event, we kindly request that you visit during your assigned time.
Last Names A-L between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Last Names M-Z between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The a-MAYS-ing is coming!

Our 4th annual aMAYSing Race will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, with a rain date of Wednesday, April 9.

Our 2025 goal is to raise $20,000, which will all go towards our custom-designed new MCES Playground. Once fully funded, this playground will feature ADA-compliant components, climbing structures, musical elements, imaginative play spaces and much more.

On Race Day, students will walk/job/skip/run around the outside field, passing through the Charm City balloon arch as many times as they can. Each student can help raise funds by asking friends, family and community members to sponsor them on Race Day by contributing a tax deductible donation.

Panera Bread Timonium

2131 York Road (across from the Fairgrounds)

5 - 9 p.m.

Hip Hip Hooray! It’s Book Fair Day! Families are invited to pick up dinner from Panera in Timonium while on your way to the Book Fair. When you mention Mays Chapel or show the flyer, a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to our school. Flyer to come.

I know we don't want summer to end, but the PTO has been hard at work planning fun activities for the 2022-2023 school year. Our first event is to welcome back our lovely teachers and staff. Please help us out if you can.

Volunteers Needed!

At Take a Peek students will receive folders filled with important forms and flyers from BCPS, the school and the PTO. To prepare these folders we need parent volunteers to help us stuff the folders. Please join us August 23 at 9:00am in the MCES Rec Room.
